What we offer

As one of Nottinghamshire’s leading youth charities, the wellbeing and social development of children always remains at the heart of our programmes.

Children can participate in a range of engaging activities and games which encourage experiential learning and team building. Healthy snacks will be provided, in addition to our dedicated staff supporting children with their homework and reading.

The YMCA’s enthusiastic and fully-qualified childcare team work hard to make sure your children enjoy and look forward to spending time with us.

Access to the following facilities means we can offer a variety of activities which are planned and delivered by our ‘Level 3’ qualified Site Manager with support from our qualified childcare team:

  • Sports Hall
  • IT Suite
  • School Hall
  • Playgrounds
  • ‘Trim Trail’ and the Field

Our team

By working to Ofsted approved ratios, we can ensure that we meet the individual needs of all of the children in each of our settings.

Members of our childcare team hold many different qualifications, providing a very wide and varied skill-set.

In addition to their qualifications, every team member has also been trained in health and safety, first aid, safeguarding, and equality and diversity. Team members also have specialist qualifications such as play work, environmental learning and risky play.

We can cater for cultural, religious and medical needs. Please speak to a member of the team for more details.
