Being unveiled at the launch ceremony will be the recently completed Athletics provisions and state-of-the-art 3G pitches, including a community pitch for training, sport and football plus a stadia pitch to support our local clubs.

In addition to being compered by British actor, Collin Wells, high profile key speakers throughout the day will include double Paralympic 200m Gold Medallist Richard Whitehead MBE, professional female footballer Laura Bassett, and British campaigner Claire Lomas MBE who completed the 32nd Virgin London Marathon in 17 days using the ReWalk robotic suit.
