Get ready for an unforgettable evening of fast-paced trivia, delicious food, and friendly competition—all in support of a great cause. On Friday, 10th October 2025, we are hosting our Autumn Quiz Night, sponsored by Bellway Homes, at our YMCA Community and Activity Village Café, bringing together the community for an exciting night out that makes a real difference. 

This event is about more than testing your knowledge—it’s a chance to support YMCA’s vital scholarship programmes. All proceeds will help empower young people from all backgrounds, giving them the opportunity to belong, contribute, and thrive. We believe every young person deserves access to the resources and support they need to build a strong future, regardless of wealth, background, or circumstance. By taking part, you’re helping ensure that financial barriers don’t stand in the way of young people accessing activities such as our Youth Membership Programmes and School Holiday Camps. 

 

Arrive at our YMCA Café from 6:00 PM and enjoy a hearty meal, with a choice of chilli or a veggie option served with rice. The quiz kicks off at 7:30 PM, testing your knowledge through an engaging, interactive experience led by experienced quizmaster Andy Speed. Expect a high-energy evening as Andy brings the questions to life with digital quizzing play, keeping you on your toes until the final round at 9:30 PM. The night wraps up at 10:00 PM with a selection of great prizes awarded to the winning team.

Entry is just £6 per person, with teams of up to six players—making it the perfect opportunity for a team outing or to challenge friends, family and colleagues! The bar will be open throughout the evening, and with only 20 team spots available, spaces are expected to fill up quickly, so be sure to reserve your spot early.
