| Ascendor | A two-sided ladder where climbers can race and build confidence to get to new heights. |
| Checkerplate | Features industrial style, LED lit, hand holds and footholds for a rugged, tactile climbing experience. |
| Detonator | Overcome the 3D Spires using unique holds, flexibility and skill. |
| Hexed | Uses hexagonal grips to form a visually engaging honeycomb structure with multiple routes of varying difficulty. |
| Speed Climb | Designed for competitive climbers, conquer the wall and stop the timer as fast as you can. |
| Jungle Vines | Mimics a jungle environment with long ropes and foot slats, requiring strength, balance, and patience. |
| Cornered | A climbing challenge that has corner angles and minimalistic grips to test positioning and technique. |

Clip ‘n Climb is a fun and thrilling climbing experience suitable for everyone from 4 years upward, regardless of climbing ability. It offers 15 exciting climbing challenges. Regular 75-minute sessions for up to 14 people can be booked online or by calling the reception.

What are the safety measures at the YMCA Climbing Centre?
The YMCA Climbing Centre requires climbers to complete acknowledgement of risk forms. Parental consent is required for Clip ‘n Climb and NICAS or any other session. Competent adult climbers who know how to belay and are booking an open climbing session, or who know how to boulder and/or use the auto belay, must also complete the relevant forms.

YMCA Climbing Centre Acknowledgement of risk forms can be found below:
- Parental Consent
Must be completed by parent/ legal guardian only
*This needs including for Clip ‘n Climb and NICAS or any other session - Unsupervised Climber 18+
For any competent adult climber who knows how to belay and is booking an open climbing session
For any adult climber who will be rope climbing in an open session - Unsupervised Bouldering and auto belay only 18+
For any competent adult climber who knows how to boulder and/or use the auto belay and is booking an open climbing session

Can I purchase a Clip ‘n Climb gift voucher?
You can purchase climbing gift vouchers at the YMCA Village reception. Please check with the YMCA Village reception team for any specific terms, or call us on 01636 233 125.
