The YMCA Community and Activity Village is situated to the south of Newark town centre. Driving, walking, cycling or using public transport- visiting us couldn’t be easier!
We are home to a Café, Nursery, Pre-school, Cycle Track, Strength & Conditioning Gym, Event and Business Space, Climbing Wall, and so much more!

By Car
From Newark Town Centre:
- Head south on London Rd/B6326 towards Portland St/B6166
- Turn right onto Bowbridge Rd
- Turn left onto Lord Hawke Way
- Look for the YMCA Community and Activity Village sign near the intersection with Lord Hawke Way.
Parking: On-site car and coach parking is free.
There are 144 car park spaces available including 10 disabled spaces. There are two coach bays.
Public Transport
Bus: Take the bus route 3N stopping at Thoresby Avenue, then a short walk to Lord Hawke Way.*
Train: Newark Northgate and Newark Castle stations are within walking distance or a short taxi ride.

Cycling
Bike Routes: There are a number of existing cycle routes in the vicinity that cater for cycling trips to and from the Village. National Cycle Route 64 runs in close proximity being directly accessible to the east of the Village
