The Night Changes Makes a Difference. You Can Still Make a Donate

One Night, One Community

The fourth Big Newark Sleep Out brought our community together for one powerful night, raising over £9,000 so far, with donations still coming in.

Participants gave up their beds to spend the night outdoors, raising awareness of youth homelessness and standing alongside young people in Newark who don’t have a safe place to call home.

Why It Matters

Homelessness can affect anyone, often for reasons beyond their control.

Across England, more than 130,000 households, including over 169,000 children are living in temporary accommodation, often without stability or a place to call home.

For those who took part, this was just one night. For many young people, it’s every night.

The Big Newark Sleep Out is about shining a light on this reality and taking action together as a community.

Every year, we make a difference.

Together, we raise the profile of the young homeless in our town and highlight the critical issue of mental health care within our community. The Sleep Out continues to grow thanks to incredible support from local people and businesses.

Radio Newark broadcast live from the event, the message reached even further across the community.
