YMCA Newark & Sherwood – Raleigh Bike Raffle
Terms & Conditions
1. Promoter
The promoter of this raffle is YMCA Newark & Sherwood, part of the YMCA Robin Hood Group.
Registered address: YMCA Community & Activity Village, Lord Hawke Way, Newark, NG24 4FH.
2. Eligibility
Entry is open to UK residents aged 18 and over. Employees of YMCA Newark & Sherwood involved in organising or promoting the raffle are not eligible to enter. Proof of age may be required.
3. How to Enter
Each entry costs £10. Tickets can be purchased in person at the YMCA Community & Activity Village. Entrants must complete a raffle entry form with their full name, email address, and contact number.
4. Closing Date
All entries must be received by Sunday 6 September 2025. Entries received after this time will not be included in the draw.
5. The Draw
The winner will be drawn at random under independent supervision on or around Tuesday 9 September 2025. The winner will be notified using the contact details provided on their entry form.
6. The Prize
The prize is one (1) Raleigh Motus Tour 2025 e-bike, valued at £1,750, donated by Raleigh UK. The bike will be delivered fully built, with a personalised handover provided by Raleigh. There is no cash alternative, and the prize is non-transferable.
7. Use of Funds
All proceeds from ticket sales will go directly to the YMCA Scholarship Fund, supporting local children and young people to access YMCA activities and programmes such as Camp Williams, Y-Kids, and Youth memberships.
8. Data Protection & Marketing
Personal data will only be used to administer the raffle and contact the winner. Entrants may choose to opt in to receive future updates and marketing communications from YMCA Newark & Sherwood. We will never share your data with third parties.
9. Gift Aid
Where applicable, entrants who are UK taxpayers may choose to add Gift Aid to their donation. Gift Aid cannot be claimed on the ticket purchase itself but may be applied to an optional additional donation.
10. Liability
The promoter accepts no responsibility for lost, damaged, incomplete, or illegible entries. The promoter reserves the right to cancel or amend the raffle and these terms if necessary due to circumstances beyond their control.
11. Governing Law
This raffle is governed by the laws of England and Wales.
