Robin Hood Half Marathon
YMCA are proud to be Silver Charity Partners of the 2023 Robin Hood Half Marathon!
Taking place in Nottingham on Sunday 24th September, it’s a long–established event in the sporting calendar, so why take up the challenge in 2023 and help raise funds for the YMCA.

How many places are available?
We have 20 places available for the half marathon for runners aged 17 and over, in addition to 5 places for the mini marathon for children aged between 4-16.
Robin Hood Half Marathon is a traffic free, single lap, 13.1 mile (21.1km) great for both seasoned runners and beginners alike. The scenic route guides you alongside Victoria Embankment and the River Trent, passing by Nottingham Castle, near the Robin Hood Statue, through the Nottingham Park Estate, and into Wollaton Park. It finishes at Victoria Embankment Recreation Ground, next to the River Trent.

What fundraising is required?
YMCA’s Community Fundraising Manager Becky Dobb will be with you every step of the way (although, maybe not literally!) to help you achieve your fundraising target.
We ask that runners commit to raise a minimum of £250 in sponsorship for the YMCA.
Additionally, to secure their spot and receive a YMCA race shirt, a deposit of £25 will be required.
